Never without our Pride!

The 17th edition of the Fierté Montréal Festival launched on August 3! Exhibitions, shows and artistic performances, conferences and workshops, short films... Back in force after an overhaul of its governance, the event, which takes place over 11 days, is intended to be as festive and unifying as it is a protest. More than 150 artists, including emerging and racialized artists, and more than a hundred community groups participate this year in the celebrations of the largest LGBTQ+ festival in the French-speaking world. It is a big opportunity to support their vitality, to commemorate the advances in their rights, but it's also a moment to highlight their current struggles and their various demands, notably during the Pride Parade on August 13, where more than 15,000 people are expected on René-Lévesque Boulevard.

Prepared in collaboration with Fierté Montréal, this special edition provides a voice to the various groups and organizations allied to the defense of LGBTQ+ rights.
